Course Description

Management of Hard and Soft Tissue deficiencies plays a significant role in contemporary Implant Dentistry. Adequate hard and soft tissue volume and quality may assist in the prevention of implant-related complications and failures, and is also significant in the treatment of peri-implantitis. This course will focus on advantages, and realistic short- and long-term expectations of contemporary methods of hard and soft tissue development for implant therapy. At the end of this presentation, clinicians should be able to know and understand:

• Rationale for new materials and techniques
• Material selection based on material properties and features
• Implant selection for optimal loading protocols and tissue stability
• Treatment workflows to maximize treatment outcomes
