During this three-day conference, we want to give Young Single Adults (ages 18-35) the chance to connect with friends, new and old, strengthen their testimonies and bolster their connection to their Savior, Jesus Christ, through our multitude of sensational speakers and service projects. Church Service

Bradley (Brad) R. Wilcox was sustained as the First Counselor in the Young Men General Presidency for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 1, 2023. Prior to his call, he had been serving as Second Counselor since April 2020.

Other Church callings include serving as a member of the Sunday School general board, president of the Chile Santiago East Mission (2003–2006), high councilor, stake Young Men president, counselor in a young single adult stake presidency, bishop, and full-time missionary in the Chile Vina del Mar Mission.

Professional Life

Brother Wilcox received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Brigham Young University and his doctorate in education from the University of Wyoming.

He is currently a professor in BYU’s Department of Ancient Scripture. He is the author of the book The Continuous Atonement and the BYU devotional address “His Grace Is Sufficient.”

Personal Life

Bradley Ray Wilcox was born on December 25, 1959, in Provo, Utah. He and his wife, Deborah, have four children.

Jon Schmidt was born to German Immigrant parents, who gave him the gift of early education in music. Classical training fell on the fertile ground of Jon’s natural talents for music and hard work. Schmidt began composing as early as age 11. He started teaching piano lessons when most people get a driver’s license and he began a successful solo career in his early twenties.

Schmidt worried about a career in music. He worried that his family would think that sheet music does not taste good with ranch dressing. So in college he studied English with plans to get an MBA. People kept pestering him over and over to play piano for them, which lead him to risk renting a large concert hall to present himself to the public. His audience loved him. He has never gone back to his English and business plans. His wife Michelle and their five children have never had to eat sheet music—even as a side dish.

Schmidt’s 20 year solo career has included many albums, performances, and awards.

The Kennesaw State University (KSU) Marietta campus is a campus focused on engineering, computing, architecture, and construction management. Located 10 minutes from the main Kennesaw campus, it hosts the College of Computing and Software Engineering and the Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology.

Housing information

Dorm room accommodations, double rooms and quadruple available.
Request a roommate and have them request you as well. No one is guaranteed to get the roommate they requested depending upon the beds and rooms available for each gender.
