The PenFed Foundation for Military Heroes empowers Veterans with the tools and resources, so their transition from military service to civilian life is successful. Our mission to improve the lives of military heroes is best told through 25 years of success stories. Since 2001, we have been able to support more than 140,000 service members and Veterans thanks to donors, sponsors, and Veteran service organizations. To honor those who have served, we offer support through our Military Heroes Program and Veteran Entrepreneur Program.

Our Military Heroes Program supports initiatives that focus on wellness, creative healing, and purpose-driven connection—meeting Veterans where they are and helping them move forward with strength and confidence. Through strategic partnerships with trusted organizations embedded in military communities, we provide the resources and tools needed to empower our nation’s heroes to heal, grow, and thrive.

The Veteran Entrepreneur Program has supported more than 120 veteran and military spouse founders nationwide. Our program is made up of a two-track model: Incubator and Accelerator. This model allows us to support founders at every stage, from those developing a new idea to founders ready to scale an existing business.
