- Explore Children's Aid community school practices, tools, and lessons learned
- Gain insights from on-site practitioners around the day-to-day operations of a community school
- Understand the role of a lead agency partner (Children's Aid) within the governance, management, and operations in a public school
- Experience the community school strategy
Schedule
School visits are taking place on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Attendees should arrive at The Riverside Church by 8:00 AM. Breakfast will be provided, followed by a brief presentation on the school visits. Transportation will depart from The Riverside Church promptly at 9:00 AM and will return by 1:00 PM, though timing may vary based on traffic. All times listed are in Eastern Standard Time.
Important information
- School Visits are an optional add-on to your registration for an additional $75 per person
- You can choose to visit an Elementary, Middle, or High School during registration
- Large groups will be split across different schools, giving your team the opportunity to gain diverse perspectives and insights
- Please bring a Government ID, as it is required for entry into the schools
- Please wear comfortable shoes. Many New York City schools do not have elevators, so you may have to use the stairs
