Frosch Student Travel has been appointed by the University Studies Abroad Consortium to provide an optional group flight to Melbourne, Australia for your study abroad program. We will provide round-trip transportation on Air New Zealand from Los Angeles to Melbourne departing on June 21, 2026. Please register online to join the group flight.

If the group flight does not meet your travel plans, you may continue to register online above and specify your preferred departure city to merge with the group flight on the reservation form under departure options as per instructions below.

(Please note that we do not have domestic add-on fares from other cities to connect with the group in Los Angeles. Air New Zealand has flights operating from New York, Houston, San Francisco and Los Angeles that we can book for you and connect you with the group at the Auckland airport. You can pick any of the cities listed that is close to your location and we will email you an itinerary/airfare from that city for review and approval.)

April 15, 2026:

Please complete the flight reservation form online with credit card payment if you wish to join the group flight.

TICKET VALIDITY AND RETURN FLIGHT INFORMATION

Your return ticket is valid until December 19, 2026 (6 months) from Melbourne back to the city of your departure.
We are offering a group return flight departing Melbourne on October 17, 2026. You may fly back with the group, or you may opt to fly back independently on a different date from Melbourne. Please specify your choice on the reservation form.
Once abroad you are allowed to change your already confirmed return flight date for a fee of $150 plus any difference in fare by contacting our Frosch Student Travel groups department office while abroad. Please note that all date changes are subject to availability of the flights and advance notice. December, May, June, July and August are the busiest months for travel between Australia and the USA. The ticket you are purchasing is a student ticket and has limited availability on the flights.
Any unused portion of your ticket is non-refundable.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note that this is a Non-Refundable ticket. You have the flexibility to cancel and keep ticket credit in your name for future travel use with Air New Zealand for one year from the ticket issuance date.

YOUR TICKET DELIVERY

Your round-trip electronic ticket will be sent to your email address specified on the reservation form.

SEATING

PLEASE BE ADVISED: We will provide free pre-assigned seating on available flights. Not all airlines allow free pre-assigned seating and will charge a seat fee per flight. You may also choose a free seat using online check-in 24 hours prior to departure or at the check-in counter at the airport to avoid any seating fees.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE

You are allowed to check-in 1 free bag weighing not more than 50 pounds. The total dimensions of the bag must be 62 inches (length, width and height). You may also carry on one bag weighing not more than 15 pounds. The total dimensions of the bag must not exceed more than 45 inches (length, width and height).

All airlines are very strict about baggage allowance. Please do not try to check-in oversized or overweight baggage as it may result in an excess baggage penalty at the airport.
