Draft Programme - MBRRACE-UK Maternal conference 2026

At this virtual conference we will present the findings of the 13th MBRRACE-UK report of Saving Lives, Improving Mothers' Care: findings of the surveillance of maternal mortality in the UK 2022-2024 and lessons learned to inform maternity care from the UK and Ireland Confidential Enquiries into Maternal Death and Morbidity 2022-2024.

The causes of maternal deaths covered in this report are deaths from:

  • Haemorrhage/AFE
  • Infection
  • Neurology
  • Other indirect

We conducted a morbidity study on networked maternity care and will also present the findings of this.

This virtual conference would be of interest to any health professionals involved in the delivery of maternity and neonatal care and members of the public with an interest.

The virtual format will allow you access from your home or place of work, saving the need to travel. All you will need is a good internet connection and PC, laptop or other device.

As a delegate, you will be able to join the conference from anywhere, take part in live Q&A sessions and have 60 days to watch the recordings of any conference presentations you missed!

Poster presentations:

This year, there will also be an opportunity for you to present local, regional or national activities in relation to reducing maternal morbidity and mortality during a virtual poster presentation session. Please take a look at the 'poster presentations' tab, for further details.

Please note that all bookings requiring invoice payment will need to be booked by 14th August to allow time for the payment to clear before the conference. After this date bookings will need to be paid for by credit card.
