Through video demonstrations, case examples, and interactive exercises, participants will learn essential CCPT skills such as tracking, reflecting content and feelings, facilitating self-esteem, and responding therapeutically to children’s behaviors and questions. The webinar will also cover effective limit-setting, strategies for managing resistance, and common challenges encountered in Child-Centered Play Therapy sessions.

Participants will also explore the therapeutic powers of play and common themes that emerge in children’s play.

Learning objectives:

  • Identify at least four core principles of Child-Centered Play Therapy.
  • Demonstrate at least three facilitative play therapy responses.
  • Apply the ACT limit-setting model to at least two common clinical scenarios encountered in play therapy sessions.

By the end of the webinar, participants will have practical, ready-to-use skills to enhance their clinical practice and deepen their ability to support children’s emotional healing.
