Conference Theme: The Path to Effective Teams, Illustrated

Join us as we harness the strength in numbers. We will explore ways to leverage individual expertise, and channel the power of collaborative efficacy and collective responsibility. We’ll go beyond the examination of student learning and link it to teacher learning as well. Together, we’ll explore the PLC+ comprehensive method of engaging in a cycle of learning through inquiry that will result in improved evidence, effective decision-making, and individual and collective student and teacher learning.

The Annual PLC+ Conference provides educators with a practical and evidence-based framework focused on supporting the planning and implementation of both student and professional learning. Intricately tied to Visible Learning+, this framework has an emphasis on equity and activation, ensuring teacher teams answer the question of who benefited from the learning and who did not. Together we will ensure we are meeting the goal of PLCs; empowering teachers to build agency and remove learning barriers in order to accelerate student learning in the classroom.

The PLC+ Conference provides teachers and teacher leaders with a space to engage in deep discussions, thoughtful and genuine reflection, and examine their impact on student learning. Conference attendees will walk away with a better understanding of the PLC+ framework -- its potential impact, the required steps for implementation, and how it builds individual and collective efficacy, as well as teacher credibility.
