Overview
ESnet operates the Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) sole high-performance data network for scientific research and is a key contributor to the American Science Cloud (AmSC) platform. Confab is ESnet's largest user meeting, traditionally bringing together domain scientists, network engineers, DOE program managers, user facility staff, and ESnet staff to co-design the future of integrated science.
Confab26 is being held in collaboration with the AmSC Program Office, and the agenda has been expanded to cover:
- AmSC Infrastructure Partner Teams capability demonstrations, building on initial presentations presented at the January AmSC 2026 Infrastructure Partner meeting
- Genesis/AmSC Program Office meetings and workflow requirements discussions
- ESnet’s data-mobility capabilities and other advances that support Genesis workflows.
