About the Conference

What to Expect

The WDD Summer Youth Conference will bring WIOA youth providers together for a full day supporting effective youth workforce service delivery.

The morning will feature Work-Ready Youth: Curriculum, Facilitation, and WIOA Service Delivery, presented by Workforce SBCSS. Participants will explore practical strategies and resources for facilitating work-readiness instruction in individual, group, workshop, and work-experience settings.

Details regarding lunch and the WDD-led afternoon session will be provided directly by WDD.

A full day of training, collaboration, and facilitated activities supporting WIOA youth program delivery.

9:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Welcome and Morning Training

Opening activities followed by the Work-Ready Youth: Curriculum, Facilitation, and WIOA Service Delivery training presented by Workforce SBCSS.

12:00–1:00 p.m.

Catered Lunch

WDD will provide lunch for registered participants and share additional details. Lunch will also provide an opportunity to connect with fellow WIOA youth providers and conference partners.

1:00–3:30 p.m.

WDD Activities

The afternoon session will be facilitated by the San Bernardino County WDD. Details regarding the session content and activities will be provided by WDD.

Registration is required to receive important event updates. Please bring a device for the morning web-based activities. A limited number of Chromebooks will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
