ABOUT THE EVENT

New Frontiers in Healthcare 2026 explores how the UK and Switzerland can build on their world class life sciences foundations to deliver better health outcomes, drive economic growth, and reward the investment that makes innovation possible.

Both countries have exceptional research institutions, deep talent pipelines, and proven translational capability. But strong foundations are not enough. Capital access, regulatory agility, and the conditions needed to attract and retain global investment all require attention.

Under the theme “Innovation and Beyond: Delivering Health, Driving Growth, Rewarding Investment”, senior leaders will examine three interconnected challenges: removing the barriers to innovation, becoming a destination of choice for world class talent, and accelerating the path from innovation to adoption at scale.

The emphasis is on practical insight, honest dialogue, and actionable collaboration.

WHY NOW?

Healthcare systems globally face mounting pressure from demographic change, workforce constraints, rising costs, and persistent inequalities in outcomes. The UK and Switzerland are not immune.

At the same time, the global life sciences landscape is shifting. New opportunities are emerging for ecosystems with the research strength, talent, and ambition to seize them.

The question is not whether the UK and Switzerland can compete. It is whether they will create the conditions to do so.
