Course Description
As AI and AI-assisted code generation become more prevalent, malware analysis is increasingly important. Attackers can use AI to create more sophisticated malware, automate attacks, and rapidly modify code to evade detection. This course prepares students to analyze both traditional and AI-generated threats, helping organizations identify, understand, and respond to emerging cyber risks.
The Malware Analysis course provides students with the skills needed to safely examine, analyze, and reverse engineer malicious software to understand how cyber threats operate and how to defend against them. Through hands-on labs, students will build secure analysis environments, perform static and dynamic analysis, use debugging and reverse engineering tools, and identify indicators of compromise (IOCs).
