- All Board of Pensions Lifelong Learning webinars are offered at no cost to participants.
In what time zone will the webinar be?
- The webinar will be in Eastern Time.
Are the Lifelong Learning webinars recorded?
- Most webinars are recorded, although some cannot be recorded due to copyright restriction. We will email registrants in the weeks following each webinar to confirm which post-webinar resources will be available on the Board’s e-learning site — along with instructions for accessing them.
Do I receive Call to Health points for attending a webinar?
*Call to Health is available to employees and their spouses with medical coverage through the Board of Pensions; it is not available to members enrolled in Triple-S, GeoBlue, or the Humana Group Medicare Advantage PPO plan.
Why do I need a valid, personal email address to register?
- Our registration system uses the email address as the unique identifier for a registrant record and enables us to efficiently send program-related communications to you, including reminders and post-event evaluations. If you enter the same email address as another person in our system, your details will overwrite their information on every existing or past registration.
If you don’t have a valid personal email address and would like to register for the seminar, call us at 800-PRESPLAN (800-773-7752) (TTY: 711), ext. 7613, for registration assistance.
Why do you ask for my demographic information?
- By sharing the information, you will help us determine who is accessing the education programs the Board of Pensions offers to plan members and employees affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and the Korean Presbyterian Church Abroad (KPCA). We will use this data to identify trends in participation and develop educational content and programs. Completion of this section is optional. Technical Concerns

What can I do to optimize my webinar experience?
- You can read about Zoom, its requirements, and how to download it before the meeting on the Zoom webpage. Once downloaded, you can test the Zoom application to ensure that it works properly on your device. Zoom is compatible with Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari web browsers.

If you are already a Zoom user, as a best practice, visit zoom.us/downlad before your meeting to update to the most current version of Zoom.
Can I connect from a mobile device?
- Zoom is accessible on a mobile device and formatted to that experience. The experience on a mobile device will be slightly different than the experience on a computer.
I am having technical issues with Zoom and I cannot join my meeting – what can I do?
- If you are having technical issues, contact a member of the Education team.
My video streaming is slow and I'm experiencing a bad connection - what can I do?
- In general, if you’re connecting over wireless internet and experiencing a poor video connection, constant rebuffering, or other issues during video playback, try the following:
  - Disconnect from any networks and close out of all other applications on your computer.
  - Move your wireless router to a more central location of your home or to an elevated surface or move your computer closer to the router.
  - Turn off your webcam which should give you more available bandwidth and may improve your audio quality.
  - Use a hardwired internet connection if available.
