COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Introduction to Copyright is a certificate course designed for professionals who need an overview of U.S. copyright law to assist with their day-to-day work responsibilities and when permission to use copyrighted materials may be required. 

This instructor-led certificate course includes a review of U.S. copyright concepts and terms, exclusive rights, exceptions and limitations, and analysis of real-world scenarios. During this course you’ll participate in discussions and activities that will help to build a foundational understanding of U.S. copyright law and best practices to manage copyright compliance.

• Understand copyright compliance best practices

COURSE LOGISTICS:

• A live 120-minute online session
• Certificate upon successful completion of the course
• 6 months of access to course and materials in the CCC University learning portal 
• Pre and post course message board assignments
