August 21-22, 2024
Register for the Climate READi Northeast Regional Workshop to be co-hosted with Brookhaven National Laboratory at the TWA Hotel in New York, NY from August 21-22, 2024. This is our fourth and final in a series of regional workshops focused on regionally significant weather variables. From keynote discussions to stimulating breakout sessions, this event will serve as an opportunity to share leading best practices on extreme weather impacts and explore research needs for emerging challenges of the region. For this workshop, we will focus the conversation on flooding and clouds.
Speakers include representatives from Brookhaven National Laboratory, The New York Climate Exchange, Sarah Lawrence College, Consolidated Edison, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the Department of Energy, the New York Power Authority, PPL Corporation, the Long Island Power Authority, and ISO New England.
Join us for an optional training session, Climate Data 101 Part II, led by the Workstream 1 team on the first day of the workshop. Additionally, we will be hosting a social networking and dinner in the Sunken Hall within the TWA Hotel. Kindly RSVP during registration.
