The ASCR Computer Science (CS) Principal Investigators (PI) Meeting will be held at Crowne Plaza Atlanta Mid-Town, Atlanta GA. The meeting will begin on Monday February 5, 2024 at 8:30 AM and end on Wednesday February 7, 2024 at 12:00 PM. The registration fee is $225 for in-person attendance and includes Continental Breakfast, Lunch, and Breaks on February 5 and 6 and Continental Breakfast and Morning Break on February 7 If you are a DOE employee or local federal employee, you will not pay the registration fee but will be able to purchase breakfast or lunch on site or during registration. Hybrid options will be available for the plenary sessions.

The goal of the Computer Science PI meeting is to enable a synergetic exchange of research advancements across multiple current projects and portfolios in the technical areas of interest to ASCR Computer Science. The meeting will facilitate presentations by computer science researchers on their recent accomplishments and discussions on the latest advances in computer science for scientific computing. This two and a half day meeting will feature presentations by DOE-funded computer science research projects; poster sessions for more detailed discussions and for exploring collaborations; breakout sessions focusing on relevant topical areas in computer science research; and other opportunities for interactions.

Some faculty and students from local colleges and universities will be invited to attend the poster sessions, which will provide an overview of the ASCR Computer Science portfolio and an opportunity to interact with the PIs.
