The FINE PRINT: Please note that while there is no guarantee that Joe will succeed due to the vicissitudes of wilderness trail running 640 miles in three events, over 15 days/nights in extreme conditions. Joe is a SURVIVOR, facing a prostate cancer diagnosis - which has not deterred him from attempting from what his cancer care team says, is his DESTINY as a model for other men in his age group. All proceeds will still be donated to NWIHA's program no matter the outcome ("finish, live or die" policy). Joe has run countless 5k's, 10k's and marathons since 1963; he set various high school cross-country and track records. He has in recent years competed in many marathons and has completed 6 ultramarathons to date (though attempting many more).
