Registration will close at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2026, OR once registration has met capacity.

The instructor will provide a brief overview of scoring concepts, research, and the revised LS/CMI score submission procedure to the Department of Justice (DOJ) via the GEARS platform.

The webinar will include a Discussion Case that is to be completed before the training, and a Test Case that will be distributed at the end of the training. If the Discussion Case is not submitted by the deadline, the attendee will no longer be eligible to attend the training.

Please note that participants will have a 10-minute grace period in which they may arrive late to the training. Participants arriving more than 10 minutes late will not be accepted into the training and will no longer be eligible to obtain CE credits. No refund will be provided for either of these cases.

*NOTE: Individuals who are not currently CASOMB Certified and/or in the process of CASOMB Recertification will not receive their SARATSO Certificate or access to GEARS until CASOMB certification is attained. It is incumbent upon the participant to notify SARATSO Training Coordinators when CASOMB certification is approved, in the form of a current CASOMB Certificate.

· The Discussion Case will be e-mailed on Monday, October 19, 2026, and is due no later than Monday, October 26, 2026, by 11:59 p.m.

· The final test will be distributed on Monday, November 2, 2026, after the Zoom training. It is due no later than Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

The results will be given via e-mail on or before Thursday, November 12, 2026.

The State Authorized Risk Assessment Tools for Sex Offenders (SARATSO) unit is an approved provider of Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and Board of Psychology (BOP) continuing education credits by the American Psychological Association (APA). Please note that there will be specific instructions in order to receive credit and certification of attendance in the course. Electronic feedback forms will be required from participants in order to receive CE’s.
