2026 AMCA New Laws and Elections Training
Session 1 - December 1, 2026 (8:30 AM - 1:00 PM)
Session 2 - December 2, 2026 (8:30 AM - 1:00 PM)
Get ready for two mornings of learning, collaboration, and all things elections! The AMCA New Laws & Elections Training brings Arizona's municipal clerks and staff together to explore the latest election laws, tackle real-world challenges, and share best practices from across the state.
Day one will take attendees through the election process, from pre-election preparations and candidate packets to post-election responsibilities, recounts, and lessons learned from the 2026 election year. We'll also explore how to prepare for First Amendment auditors and navigate unexpected challenges with confidence. Day two will dive into Arizona election law, including legislative updates, campaign finance, initiatives, recalls, and referendums.
Whether you're new to elections or have several election cycles under your belt, this training offers valuable insights, practical takeaways, and opportunities to learn from fellow clerks. Come ready to learn, share experiences, and leave better prepared for the next election!
