This morning we will take a walking tour of Split including a visit to Diocletian palace cellars. A massive Roman ruin complex and arguably the most important historical site in Split, Diocletian's Palace is a must-see for any visitor. The Cellars of Diocletian's Palace, sometimes referred to as the "basement halls" is a set of substructures, located at the southern end of Diocletian's Palace, that once held up the private apartments of Emperor Diocletian and represent one of the best-preserved ancient complexes of their kind in the world.

Visit to Stella Croatica near Split including a cooking presentation. The story is rounded off by the construction of a special area to present one of the most important cultures in Dalmatia, woven into many of our traditional products. The Museum dedicated to the olive tree is a living witness of the heritage and the focal point of every visit.

Learn more about the local cuisine – cooking traditional dishes using fresh ingredients and spices from the garden! After getting to know each other and taking a tour of the estate, we set out on a culinary adventure. Our host will present you with the recipe and dishes you will make yourself. You will find some of the ingredients in our garden and learn family secrets to preparing a delicious meal.

Do you know what collard greens (raštika) are? Learn how to consume this superfood in a modern variant! At the end of the workshop, taste the fruits of your labor in a relaxed ambiance, engaging all your senses!

This program is quite good and interesting if the expectations are at the level of what we can provide. Namely, we are not professional chefs, nor do we have a space equipped for classic culinary workshops. Our program is based on local ingredients and authentic recipes that guests can prepare themselves with our help. A whole group of 20 people cannot participate in all this, because we simply do not have such a space, but usually a few people participate who volunteer.

Hvar Town walking tour. Among the largest and most famous Croatian islands, Hvar is also the sunniest spot on the Adriatic Sea with almost 2,800 hours of sunshine per year. Hvar Town is the busiest destination on the island, its harbor attracting the world elites, dotting its bay with luxurious mega yachts each summer. The town’s long history seems to protrude from every nook, the 13th century main square of St. Stephen with its namesake cathedral, the Fortica citadel with beautiful views of the town and bay, one of the oldest theatres in Europe to name just a few. Lavander oil is the perfect travel souvenir and gift to take home from Hvar, as the island has a long tradition in farming this beautiful, fragrant herb.

Radman Mills and small cruise on River Cetina with lunch.

They date from 17th and 18th century and were renovated in the 19th century by the Radman family whose name they carry today. It is supposed that it was the country house of some rich man from Omiš who wanted to enjoy silence and refreshment during hot summers. For centuries they used the power of the water to mill the wheat and other cereals. Today mills has been converted into a large restaurant, numerous other objects and picnic area surrounded by clean nature, mill wheels and tall trees. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Drive from Split to Dubrovnik, passing modern resorts and fishing villages. Upon arrival proceed with a guided tour of Dubrovnik. The most famous of all Croatian ports, Dubrovnik is known globally for the unique beauty of its fortified Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. Located on the southern Croatian Adriatic Coast, this city never fails to amaze visitors with views of its imposing city walls and forts, monasteries, palaces, and cobbled streets lined with restaurants and cafes. A walk along the city walls is a must, offering views into the belly of the Old Town on one side and the mesmerizing Adriatic Sea, reaching all the way to Italy on the other. Perhaps the most intriguing thing is Dubrovnik’s long history as a city- state; “Libertas” still proudly flaunts in the wind on the Dubrovnik city flag. Do not miss the chance to peek into the oldest working pharmacy in Europe and feel yourself relax taking in the sunset from Buza, a café bar on the outside cliff of the city walls. Wine tasting at local winery in Konavle region. We will visit a winery in the Konavle Region near Dubrovnik. Konavle is a very special region of the Dubrovnik- Neretva county. Rich flora and fauna, green landscapes accented by the river Ljuta, stone houses remodeled for the perfect luxury vacation with a hint of rustic flair, family run businesses with an exquisite gastronomic offer, steep cliffs, beautiful beaches and an unhindered view of the Adriatic sea.

Wine growing in Konavle has a long tradition and the periods of both blooming and declining are directly connected with the autochthonous sort of the Konavle region – “Malvasija Dubrovačka“.

The perception of the Konavle wines has changed fundamentally in past years. This transformation was triggered by a completely new approach to vine growing. The development of the small family run vineyards, wineries and the education of winegrowers who have put the regrowing process at the top of their priority lists has revived the production of high quality wines. By doing so, Konavle have been put back on the right track to becoming once again a wine region of unique, native and autochthonous varieties.

AR Atelier is an art shop lead by academic painter Antonia Ruskovic Radonic. We produce various applied and decorative items created by several techniques like hand painted silk , pottery, and traditional Konavle embroidery. Inspired by the beauty of the local backdrops, defined by the traditions of Dubrovnik and Konavle, and captivated by the craft that endlessly brings new opportunities of experiencing the very same item, we look forward to share our products with you.
