Procurement for Financial Agencies Under FAR 2.0
VIRTUAL SESSION
Program Summary:
The changes in the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) not only provided a streamlining of the FAR, but also incorporated a number of innovative procurement techniques, some which were previously used by agencies and some which are entirely new, into the FAR itself to encourage their broader adoption and use by the contracting workforce.
To address these critical topics, the ACT-IAC Federal Financials Federal Insights Exchange is pleased to present a panel discussion with two innovators who have experience leveraging these flexibilities prior to the FAR RFO to discuss the recent changes, how they see the FAR RFO changing federal procurement practices, what barriers they see to greater adoption, and what the inherent pros and cons of this new process will be.
Moreover, this discussion will address the acquisition of the services and technology that federal financial agencies will require in the coming years and how industry and government should expect to engage with one another to achieve optimal procurement outcomes.
