Ring of Fire Expeditions invites you to join our 55thSolar Eclipse Adventure for a Total Solar Eclipse in Spain.

This expedition will be led by Paul D. Maley of the NASA Johnson Space Center Astronomical Society and it will mark his 89th solar eclipse.

The upcoming 2026 total solar eclipse is an unforgettable and extraordinary opportunity to witness the stunning interplay between the Moon's shadow and the Sun as it passes over Spain. This rare event, where the eclipsed Sun will be positioned low above the western horizon, promises to bring an unprecedented atmospheric display.

Deposit & Registration:
Registering for a spot on this program requires a $750 non-refundable deposit per person.

A 2^ndnon-refundable deposit is due March 31, 2025 of $2,000 per person.
If booking after that date, then a non-refundable deposit due is $2,750 per person. Deposits are accepted by credit card only.

Final payment is due October 31, 2025. All monies received after this date become non-refundable.

Cancellations and Refunds:
Cancellation fees are based on the date the written notice is received by Direct Travel. (Notification of cancellation must be received in writing.) A full copy of our terms can be found on the eclipsetours.com website.

The $750 per person deposit is non-refundable up to March 31, 2025.

From April 1, 2025 - October 31, 2025 the cancellation penalty is $2,750.00 per person.

From November 1, 2025 until trip departure the penalty to cancel is 100% of the trip cost.

Travel Insurance:
We highly recommend the purchase of trip cancellation and delay insurance (cancel for any reason is recommended) and out of country medical insurance (to include emergency evacuation) once the program is confirmed and your deposit becomes nonrefundable.

Mandatory travel Insurance for Non-EU Visitors: All non-EU travellers must now provide proof of travel insurance covering medical expenses when entering Spain. This requirement aims to prevent unpaid healthcare costs incurred by tourists. Each guest (even for married couples) must submit their own mandatory answers to all questions in this form. Non-compliance may mean denial of entry into Spain on arrival day.
