Advance Your Leadership. Strengthen Your Impact.
Information technology in academic medicine is advancing rapidly, and the field needs thoughtful, forward-looking leadership to shape the future of analytics, informatics, and educational technology in the right direction.
The AAMC 2025 Leading Information Technology in Academic Medicine (LIT) Meeting is designed for professionals eager to advance their careers. Whether you're leading a small team or stepping into broader responsibilities, LIT offers a dedicated space to discover what it means to lead with intention, navigate complexity, and transform technical expertise into meaningful, lasting impact.

Why Attend
- Develop your leadership skills. Learn how to lead with confidence and influence – even in fast-paced, rapidly evolving environments. Sessions are grounded in real-world challenges and led by professionals who understand your experiences.
- Amplify your voice. Bridge the gap between your day-to-day work and your institution’s broader mission. We’ll explore strategy, communication, and how to ensure IT leadership has a meaningful voice at the table.
- Learn from proven leaders. Gain valuable insights from seasoned professionals who have built strong teams, driven innovation, and led meaningful change—regardless of role or title.
- Expand your network. LIT connects you with peers from across the country who understand your work, share your challenges, and support your goals. Many attendees say the relationships they build at AAMC events continue to thrive and benefit them years later.
