Q: What is the Outreach Education Dashboard? 

A: The Outreach Education Dashboard is a digital platform dedicated to delivering continuing medical education (CME), professional development, and collaborative learning opportunities for healthcare professionals through tele-education, webinars, classes, and conferences. 

Q: Who is this portal for? 

A: The portal is designed for physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, allied health professionals, and other clinical staff affiliated with or interested in this hospital's outreach programs. Invite a colleague by sharing this link: https://cvent.me/PKkXBD

 

ACCESS AND REGISTRATION

Q: How do I access the portal? 

A: Visit https://cvent.me/PKkXBD and hit "Register Now." Once you're registered, you can log in using your email and confirmation number!

Q: Is there a fee to attend tele-education sessions or conferences? 

A: C-NOTES and the NICU Scientific Updates are offered at no cost, especially those under hospital-sponsored outreach initiatives. Some specialty conferences may include a nominal registration fee, which will be clearly noted during registration. 

Q: Can I use a mobile device or tablet to join a session? 

A: Yes. The portal and all tele-education sessions are compatible with smartphones and tablets. We recommend using headphones for optimal audio quality. 

 

TELE-EDUCATION & CONFERENCES

Q: What types of virtual education are offered? 

A: Offerings include: 

  • Live CME-accredited webinars 
  • Case-based discussions and grand rounds 
  • Specialty-specific conferences 
  • Recorded sessions for on-demand viewing 

Q: Will I receive CME or CEU credit for participation? 

A: Yes, many live sessions offer accredited continuing education credits. Details on accreditation and how to claim your credit are included on each event page. CME’s are provided thru the Eeds platform.

Nurses: The California Board of Registered Nursing recognizes the use of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ toward credit for contact hours. Report “AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™” as the BRN Number.

Q: How do I access Eeds?

A: To view upcoming sessions, visit our Eeds page (register for free to gain access).

To claim CME credit, click the sign-in button next to the event you attended. The site will walk you through completing an evaluation if you already have an account, or if you need to create one. 

Q: Are the sessions recorded? Can I view them later?

A: Yes. Most live sessions are recorded and made available in the on-demand library within 3-5 business days after the event. Visit our C-NOTES page (register for free to gain access).

A select number of recordings are available for CME credit.

Q: What platform is used for virtual events? 

A: Each event will specify what platform will be used for virtual events.  

Q: What are the system requirements? 

A: A reliable internet connection and a modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge) are recommended. For live sessions, ensure your device has audio capability.
