Veterans Day Event | Honoring Service. Advancing Careers.

The Veterans Day Networking and Career Development Event will bring together veterans, transitioning service members, military spouses, and project management professionals for an evening of professional development and networking. The program will feature opportunities to connect with recruiters and employers to learn about current and future project management career opportunities. We will encourage participating organizations to bring both recruiters and hiring managers to maximize engagement with attendees.

Dr. Donovan Wright P.H.D, ED.D retired U.S. Army Major, Founder and Chief Digit AI Officer Xaymaca Solutions LLC will share insights on applying military experience to project management careers and discuss the impact of project management within their professional role.

The overall objective is to support veterans and military-affiliated professionals through networking, career exploration, project management, and community engagement, in a manner consistent with the goals of the PMI Washington, DC Chapter's Military Outreach & Engagement Program.
