ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The 47th Annual Christian Educators Conference is scheduled to convene from November 29 to December 2, 2026, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
For forty-six years, this conference has served as a leading gathering for Christian educators. Pastors, educators, church leaders, and others committed to Christian education come together to learn, celebrate, and collaborate, building community and advancing shared goals. This conference offers a comprehensive three-day immersion in Christian education, integrating faith and practice through plenary sessions, seminars, workshops, and worship.

The Three Pillars
Fearless — God Did Not Give You That. A direct confrontation of fear in all its forms personal, congregational, and civic. Before the church can act, it must put down what it was never meant to carry.
Stirred Up — Fan into Flame What God Deposited. The gift is still in every believer not revoked by circumstance, opposition, or legislation. The conference is the occasion of stirring.

MEET OUR SPEAKERS
DR. MARCUS D. COSBY
Senior Pastor, Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church
Dr. Marcus D. Cosby serves as Senior Pastor of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Religion and English from Fisk University, Master of Divinity in Homiletics and Christian Education from Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) in Atlanta, and Doctor of Ministry in Homiletics from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Dr. Cosby serves on multiple prestigious boards, including the Samuel Dewitt Proctor Conference, the African American Pulpit scholarly journal, the Home Mission Board of the National Baptist Convention USA Inc., and the Houston Area Urban League. He has served on the Board of Directors of Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston, the Texas Commission for Community Service and Volunteerism, and as an advisory board member of The Gardner C. Taylor Preaching Archives in Atlanta.
A member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, and the NAACP, Dr. Cosby considers preaching and teaching his most meaningful gifts. He has carried his ministry across the country, seeking to uplift all humanity through the life-changing, uncompromising Word of God. Dr. Cosby is married to his high school sweetheart, Audrey Marie, and they have five children: daughters Adrienne Marie, Ashley Marie, and Aliyah Marie, and sons Marcus D. II and Matthew D."
