Across the network, we are united by a shared belief that no one should face hunger alone. Rooted in our Network Strategic Framework, this year’s theme, Uniting Communities, honors the partnerships, voices, and collective action that move us closer to an America where everyone has access to food and the dignity they deserve. By coming together to learn, share, and lead, we strengthen trust, nourish hope, and build lasting change—together, we can end hunger for good.

The Philanthropy Conference will support networkwide learning across direct marketing, leadership, strategy and organizational development, marketing and communications, philanthropy operations and analytics, and relationship-based fundraising.

The Philanthropy Conference will be held at the Hilton Chicago, located in the heart of downtown Chicago, a historic landmark overlooking Grant Park and Lake Michigan.

Target Audience

Network member staff in Development/Fundraising and Marketing—welcoming all levels, including executive leadership. Please note this conference is not intended for board members of network organizations.

Build meaningful peer connections and a sense of community that extends beyond the conference by connecting with at least one fellow attendee for ongoing relationship building.

Strengthen confidence in navigating the evolving fundraising and marketing landscape through shared insights and thought partnership by identifying at least one new approach they feel equipped to implement.

Travel Arrangements

When making your travel arrangements, please keep in mind that the Philanthropy Conference will start Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 1:00 pm Central Time, and conclude Thursday, August 13, 2026, no later than 12:00 PM Central Time. Important travel information is included on the Destination tab. 

The Philanthropy Conference will be held at Hilton Chicago in downtown Chicago, IL. Hotel reservations can be made during the conference registration process, and rooms within the block are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Business casual.

Name Badges

Your conference badge is required for every session and event, including food bank tours, pre-conference meetings and meals. Please always wear your name badge during the Philanthropy Conference.
