Where do seeds come from, and how do they find their way to new places? In this hands-on workshop, kids will explore the fascinating world of seeds, discovering the many shapes, sizes, and ways seeds travel.

We’ll learn the basics of seed saving, including how to collect, sort, process, and properly store seeds for future planting. Participants will also fold their own DIY origami seed packets to label and take home, while contributing saved seeds to the garden’s seed bank for the next growing season.

Through hands-on discovery and creative crafting, kids will connect with the natural world and become little stewards of the garden, helping prepare for new growth and future harvests.
