This comprehensive course combines expert-led lectures, live demonstrations, and extensive hands-on scanning sessions covering major joints, procedural guidance, inflammatory arthritis, crystal arthropathies, pediatric ultrasound, and beyond-the-joint applications.

Dinner and Casino Night (Everyone is Welcome)
October 3, 2026, from 6 PM to 9 PM.
Connect with rheumatology fellows, faculty, and SCRS members during an evening of networking, dinner, and casino-themed entertainment.
The social event is open to all SCRS members and prospective members. Attendance in the ultrasound course is not required to participate in the evening event, though advance registration is encouraged.
Complimentary Fellow Event Registration includes:
- Now offering reimbursement of up to $200 per fellow for eligible travel costs (airfare and shared rides). Post-event reimbursement with submission of receipts.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the indications, limitations, and clinical applications of musculoskeletal ultrasound in rheumatic disease management
- Identify normal sonographic anatomy across major joints and soft tissue structures
- Recognize common inflammatory and crystal arthropathy ultrasound findings
- Perform basic musculoskeletal ultrasound examinations relevant to clinical rheumatology practice
- Apply ultrasound guidance techniques for joint and soft tissue procedures
- Integrate musculoskeletal ultrasound findings into point-of-care clinical decision making
