The annual MSA Policy Training Conference offers a unique opportunity to enhance your understanding of the vital role that federal policy plays in public education and the pivotal position magnet schools occupy in our nation’s education landscape.

This year’s conference will focus on four critical questions:

  1. How should districts respond to declining student enrollment and growing competition for students?
  2. What are the opportunities, risks, and policy implications of artificial intelligence (AI) for teaching, learning, school operations, and workforce preparation?
  3. What will the 2026 midterm elections mean for education policy and federal funding priorities?
  4. How can the magnet school community help shape the next generation of the Magnet Schools Assistance Program (MSAP)?

You’ll gain critical policy insights, meet with federal policymakers, sharpen your advocacy skills, help influence the future of magnet and theme-based schools, and connect with magnet leaders nationwide.

Let’s shape the future of education—one voice at a time.

MSA will help facilitate your meetings with congressional offices. If you choose this option, we will set up the meetings with your members of Congress and their staff on your behalf – all you need to do is show up and be ready to share the great work happening in your school or district!

We even have prep sessions scheduled to help prepare you for your Hill visits. Don't miss this opportunity to tell your powerful magnet school story!
