Michigan Great Lakes HFMA Webinar - Improving the bottom line: collaboration between Operations and Providers

This session presents a case study from Corewell Health Primary Care, with relevance for other specialties. Following the implementation, the department increased the proportion of providers meeting at least the national 50th percentile productivity benchmark from 24% to 66% in under six months. The structed method for enhancing operational efficiency and provider performance includes tactics such a policy development, standardization, collaboration, monthly metric reviews, coding audits, point-of-service collections, accountability, and other strategies.
