The goal of the cardiovascular imaging symposium is to bring together all cardiology clinical and research fellows and faculty engaged in cardiovascular imaging related research, along with clinical cardiologist and imaging technologist. The program will provide an overview of ongoing basic, translational, and clinical research projects and other opportunities related to the field of multi-modality cardiovascular and molecular imaging. Clinical topics covered during the symposium include multi-modality imaging for detection of coronary artery disease, evaluation of ischemic heart disease, valvular heart disease, and peripheral artery disease, with consideration of application of Al. This program will involve presentations related to radiotracer- based SPECT and PET imaging, cardiac ultrasound, cardiovascular computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, hybrid imaging and image processing. The Keynote Speaker will be Andrew Arai, MD who present on the current state-of-the-art in cardiac magnetic resonance imaging.
