Upholding judicial integrity and maintaining professional demeanor are essential responsibilities for every judicial officer. This applied learning workshop will explore how Motivational Interviewing (MI) principles and techniques reinforce those responsibilities by enhancing clarity, neutrality, and respectful communication. Through instruction, guided discussion, practical skill application, and case examples, participants will examine how MI can be integrated into judicial practice to foster impartiality, respect, and professionalism.
