Engineers Australia invites members to a special briefing to   discuss exciting national conversations to reform and harmonise engineering registration across the country. Engineers Australia is advocating for engineering registration to work similar to a driver’s license – register once, practice anywhere. Under National Competition Policy reforms, Treasurers have turned their attention to occupational licensing – with a   focus on engineers and electricians. Aligning registration requirements for the engineering profession across all states and territories would boost workforce mobility, improve productivity and competitiveness, and cut red tape. Join Bernadette Foley, Group Executive, Professional Standards and Engineering Practice, and others to discuss Engineers Australia’s efforts and approach to securing this important reform for engineers, and the status of this project.
