Why LEAD?
The cultural sector assembles at LEAD to advance accessibility and the full inclusion of people with disabilities in arts and culture. Participants:
- increase accessible programming capacity;
- explore regulations and assistive technologies;
- exchange ideas with thought-leaders and experts from around the world; and
- spark initiatives creating more human-centered arts experiences and environments.
Through this annual convening, LEAD reaches hundreds of arts and cultural professionals, creating a community of practice of access advocates empowered to identify and remove barriers and influencing the design and usability of cultural experiences creating a more inclusive world.
