COURSE OVERVIEW
Great teaching and good humor go hand in hand. In Teaching with Humor, educators explore practical ways to weave laughter and levity into instruction-without losing focus or rigor. Learn how humor strengthens relationships, supports social-emotional learning, and enhances retention. Walk away with ready-to-use strategies to make your classroom a place where learning sticks and smiles are contagious. The course has an asynchronous format and is based on the book by Mary Kay Morrison “Using Humor to Maximize Learning.”
- Methods of Instruction - reading, online discussions, quizzes, four application projects.
- No meeting times!
- You do not have to actively be teaching in a classroom to take this course.
