Connect current partnership challenges and regional experiences with UIDP’s broader priorities.

The UIDP Southeast Regional Forum brings together representatives from universities, companies, government, and nonprofit organizations for a day of timely insights, candid conversation, and regional connection.

As cross-sector partnerships receive growing attention, the forum offers a trusted environment to examine emerging opportunities and challenges, compare approaches, and learn from colleagues across the Southeast. A legislative update, regional perspectives, and peer discussion will provide practical context on developments affecting university-industry and cross-sector partnerships.

Participants will also hear updates on UIDP’s Strengthen and Modernize Partnerships Initiative (SAMI) and have opportunities to contribute perspectives that inform developing concepts and programs. The NSF UIDP I-PhD Scholars Program illustrates what can emerge from this work and the value of continued engagement across the community.

Attendees will have opportunities to:

• Connect in person with colleagues across the Southeast to compare experiences, discuss shared challenges, and strengthen relationships.

• Gain timely perspectives on developments affecting cross-sector partnerships, including a legislative update and regional insights.

• Hear updates on SAMI and contribute perspectives that inform UIDP’s developing concepts and programs.

• Get to know representatives from nearby organizations and build connections that support continued exchange beyond the forum.

Join peers from universities, industry, government, and nonprofits to share practical insight, contribute your perspective, and help shape how university-industry collaboration evolves. Sessions will engage audience members in dynamic discussions, and all conversations operate under Chatham House Rule to encourage candid dialogue.

Register today to join colleagues from across the Southeast for a focused day of conversation, connection, and practical insight. Participation is open to representatives of UIDP member organizations. Nonmembers may attend by invitation only. All registrations are subject to approval.
