Get into the spirit of Earth Hour with family or friends by participating in an orienteering-style adventure dash in one of South Africa’s most beautiful national botanical gardens.
The popular #EarthHourAdventure at the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden in Cape Town and Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden in Johannesburg invites participants to navigate hidden check points dotted across a 5km course via torch (or headlamps).
Everyone is then invited to enjoy a bring-your-own picnic on the lawns (coffee will be on sale to those who have brought their own mugs to avoid any plastic waste).
The event is a fundraiser for WWF and proceeds go towards supporting conservation efforts. For Nature. For You.
