This 3-day grief intensive offers an integrative exploration of grief and loss through clinical, cultural, developmental, ethical, and experiential lenses. Designed for mental health providers and helping professionals, the program combines didactic learning, reflective practice, and facilitated group dialogue to deepen understanding of bereavement and strengthen therapeutic presence with grieving individuals and families.

The first day establishes a conceptual and historical foundation for understanding grief. The second day focuses on the contextual influences that shape grieving experiences, with emphasis on diversity and spirituality, as well as a comprehensive exploration of grief theories and models. The final day integrates ethical considerations and applied clinical practice with special populations, focusing on presence, responsibility, and sustainable engagement in grief work. Emphasis is placed on integrating cognitive understanding with emotional awareness, fostering both professional competence and personal insight to develop a nuanced, ethically grounded, and culturally responsive approach to grief care.
