Arrive a day early and ease into Scottsdale with a Thursday dedicated to sharpening your skills. Go beyond skin deep in our dermatology master class or get hands-on in our dentistry extraction lab. A little more time in the desert. A little more confidence in the clinic.
Extract with Confidence: A Practical Dentistry Lab (HANDS-ON LAB)
Build your dental extraction skills with a full day of focused learning and hands-on practice. This dentistry lab covers extraction indications, basic principles, gingival flap techniques, and dental blocks, along with approaches to single-rooted and multi-rooted teeth, upper fourth premolars, and canine teeth. Learn practical pearls for avoiding and managing extraction complications, ask questions during a dedicated Q&A, then put the morning’s lessons into practice during an afternoon extraction lab. Breakfast and lunch are included.
The Derm Detective: Unraveling Challenging Skin Cases (MASTER CLASS)
Go beyond skin deep with a full day of practical dermatology education designed to sharpen your approach to challenging cases. Join Drs. Mesman and Bourgeois to explore derm cytology, the clinical presentations of canine atopic dermatitis, and tips for successful elimination diet trials. Work through the pododermatitis puzzle, tackle recurrent canine pyoderma, and explore advanced strategies for Pseudomonas otitis before bringing it all together with case-based feline dermatology. Leave with clinical pearls to bring back to your practice. Breakfast and lunch are included.
