Overview

The Missouri Society for Healthcare Engineering presents “Beyond Deferred Maintenance: Communicating Risk, Consequences and Resilience to Health Care Leaders,” a virtual session focused on helping professionals from health care facilities communicate infrastructure risk in terms that resonate with executive decision-makers. Participants will learn practical tools to translate asset failures into operational, financial, regulatory and patient care impacts, strengthening the case for proactive investment and organizational resilience.

Objectives

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

  • enhance preparedness and operational resilience by equipping health care facility management teams with foundational strategies for crisis management, continuity planning and resilience training
  • improve response to critical incidents by increasing participants’ understanding of how to coordinate infrastructure, safety and patient care operations within the unique demands of health care environments
