Building Operator Certification (BOC) Level I Multifamily Training helps multifamily facility staff advance their skills and careers in energy efficient operation of multifamily facilities.  Studies show that BOC-credentialed facilities staff can significantly reduce annual utility costs.

Building Operator Certification is a nationally-recognized training and credentialing program for building operators that offers improved job skills and more comfortable energy-efficient facilities. The training is led by industry experts, each with experience in the field they teach. Participants receive a collection of valuable reference materials created and updated by facility experts in energy efficient operations and building systems. Certification provides a credential for professional development and offers employers a way to identify skilled operators.

BOC Level I Multifamily Training is designed for multifamily facility operators with two or more years of experience in operation and maintenance of multifamily facilities who wish to broaden their knowledge of building systems maintenance.  Completion of BOC Level I Multifamily Training requires a time commitment of 74 hours which includes seven classes, work site projects, and open-book tests.
