Description

Join the Bill of Rights Institute  in exploring benchmark aligned support materials for instruction!

Participants will explore BRI materials and primary sources that can be clearly aligned to Arizona standards and benchmarks. This will be a collaborative workshop that engages teachers in both resource review and development! 

In partnership with Arizona State University’s Center for American Civics, select sessions will feature ASU Civics content and resources that further enrich the professional learning experience.

Additional Details: 

• Meals will be provided throughout the duration of the program. 
• BRI will cover the cost of substitute fees for attendees of the program.
• BRI will provide a certificate of attendance for 6 contact hours.
• A laptop is required for this program.

Day-long professional development best suited for Middle and High School Civics, Government, U.S. History, and Social Studies teachers.
