CPA Festival
Take the Stage
Since 1931, the Calgary Performing Arts Festival has been encouraging young performers to reach the next level. Join us in celebrating the passion, talent, and dedication of aspiring artists across a variety of disciplines across speech arts and music.
This time-honored tradition offers participants a platform to showcase their skills, gain valuable feedback from expert adjudicators, and build lifelong confidence. Whether you’re a performer, supporter, or audience member, the Calgary Performing Arts Festival is a vibrant celebration of our artistic community.
IF YOU’RE A PERFORMER
The training you receive is about more than just performing on stage. It’s about developing your work ethic, discipline, kindness, positivity, collaboration, and sense of community—while building confidence in who you are as an artist.
IF YOU’RE A MUSIC TEACHER
Provide your students with the invaluable experience of performing in front of peers and receiving impartial feedback from distinguished international adjudicators.
IF YOU’RE A PARENT
It’s more than just practice; it’s about goal-setting. Having a performance date creates focus and provides a clear objective to work toward.
The Calgary Performing Arts Festival distributes over $40,000 in annual scholarships.
