Virtual Attendance: Frequently Asked Questions
Will my attendance to Summit satisfy the 12-hour FL chapter CME requirement?
Yes! Participation in Summit: 2026 FAFP Family Medicine Annual Meeting will satisfy the Florida chapter requirement of 12.0 FL prescribed credits. Full participation allows attendees to earn up to 18.0 live CME credits—all credits are deemed FL prescribed.
Is it possible to register for the In-Person ABFM KSA Study Groups as a Virtual attendee?
No. The In-Person ABFM KSA Study Groups: Diabetes and Heart Disease will be presented as In-Person sessions only—there is no Virtual element offered. The option to register for the KSA is only available during registration for In-Person attendance. (The FAFP offers multiple stand-alone Virtual KSA Study Groups annually—click here to learn more.)
Can I switch to In-Person attendance if I’m already registered to attend Virtually?
Yes! If you would prefer to attend In-Person, you will need to cancel your current Virtual registration and re-register for In-Person attendance before registration closes on Thursday, December 10, 2026 at 1:00pm EST. (Click the “Already registered?” link on the home page or the “View or modify my registration” link in your Registration Confirmation email.)
How do I log on to view the Virtual conference?
The link to access the Virtual livestream of the conference will be provided via email to all attendees the week of the meeting, beginning Monday, December 7. (Once you get to the website, you’ll just need to enter the email address that you used when registering for the event.) Please note: the virtual website will not be accessible until Friday, December 11.
From which time zone will the presentations be livestreamed?
Summit: 2026 Annual Meeting will be livestreaming from Amelia Island, FL in the Eastern Time Zone (ET).
Do I have to watch the presentations live or can I go back to watch them later?
Yes – you will need to watch the presentations live, in real-time in order to be eligible to claim live CME credits for the meeting. (Should you experience technical difficulties, you will have to the option to view a Virtual Playback recording of the presentations after the end of the conference. The Playback link is typically provided to all attendees within 2 weeks of the end of the meeting, but the video content is only accessible for 30 days.)
Will I need to be on camera?
No. The presentations will be livestreamed on an FAFP webpage—you’ll just need to watch the content live, in real-time.
How do I get a copy of my receipt?
Your receipt/payment summary is included in your Registration Confirmation email. (Be sure to check your Spam or Junk folder if not found in your main email inbox.)
Where can I find the meeting syllabus?
The digital meeting syllabus will be included in the instructional emails that will be sent to all attendees the week of the meeting. All meeting resources will be provided in a printable, PDF format—scan the QR code for quick and easy access. (Virtual attendees can also find the meeting materials under the Meeting Info tab, located at the top of the FAFP virtual meeting webpage.)
What do I do if I need to modify my registration?
If you need to modify your registration, click the “Already registered?” link on the home page or the “View or modify my registration” link in your Registration Confirmation email. You will need to enter your confirmation #, then click the "Modify Registration" button towards the bottom of the page.
What do I do if I need to cancel my registration?
If you are no longer able to attend, we recommend you cancel your registration prior to the cancellation deadline on Thursday, December 3, 2026 at 11:59pm EST. Click the “Already registered?” link on the home page or the “View or modify my registration” link in your Registration Confirmation email. (All cancellations made prior to the deadline will incur a $50 cancellation fee—registrations are non-refundable if cancelled after the December 3rd deadline.)
How do I claim CME credits?
All meeting attendees will receive the link to an Evaluation survey. To claim credits, attendees must participate and complete and submit the Evaluation. (Attendees will receive the Evaluation link in the instructional emails that will be sent out the week of the meeting—scan the QR code for quick and easy access.
