This three-morning overview of Dialectical Behavior Skills Training will provide a brief introduction to the larger context of Dialectical Behavior Therapy as well as an overview of the structure and content of each of the four skills modules. Management of therapy interfering and therapy destroying behaviors will be addressed. Methods of teaching will include slides and lecture, exercises, video and discussion groups.
Learning Objectives:
As a result of this training the mindful participant will be able to:
- Identify an appropriate client for referral to a DBT Skills training group.
- Describe the difference between a comprehensive DBT program and a skills-only program.
- List the DBT Skills Modules.
- Describe the goals of each module and list one skill for each module.

New Requirement for Continuing Education Credits (Effective July 1, 2025):
To receive CE credits for virtual trainings or meetings, participants are required to have their camera turned on for the duration of the training, except during scheduled breaks.
