A focused, interactive 1 ½ - day workshop designed to strengthen participants' understanding of the Community Navigator Program (CNP), build practical skills for connecting individuals to federal grant resources, and support effective community engagement and collaboration.

One and A Half-Day Workshop Agenda

  • Day 1 | 9 AM – 5 PM Tourism Systems, Connecting Tourism – Forest – Governance and Community, and the U.S. Forest Service (Break for lunch at 12pm - Lunch not included)
  • Day 2 | 9 AM - 12 PM Project Planning & Compliance

Our workshops support Native and Tribal‑owned businesses, Tribal nonprofits, and Tribal land managers seeking to strengthen cultural tourism, improve grant readiness, and advance wildfire‑resilience planning. 

Ideal participants include: 

  • Cultural tourism teams wanting to tell their story and develop visitor experiences. 
  • Project and Nonprofit staff needing skills in structuring program/project designs, writing grants, and managing post‑award reporting. 
  • Land managers and forestry staff working on Community Wildfire Defense Grants and Community Wildfire Protection Plans.
