Give to the RBMS Scholarship Fund

We invite you to invest in the future leaders of the profession as they seek to gain experience, knowledge, and connections needed to advance.

ACRL and RBMS are able to award more scholarships to attend the RBMS Conference thanks to donors like you. ACRL and RBMS are strongly dedicated to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Accordingly, the RBMS Scholarships Committee gives preference to applicants who are from (or serve) underrepresented groups that have been historically marginalized or excluded due to race, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, economic background, age, and/or ability.

The RBMS Scholarship fund of the larger Friends of ACRL program specifically supports attendance at the annual Rare Book and Manuscripts Section Conference by library professionals, students, and support staff, with the goal of helping diversify the future of the special collections profession. ACRL and RBMS express their sincere appreciation to donors whose support enables us to build the skills and capacities of the next generation to serve our profession and association.
