Questions about your ALA membership type?

Type 1: Librarians and other employees in library and information services or related positions.
Type 2: Library professionals that earn <45k annually, including those not currently employed; working outside the U.S.; or are retired.
Supporter: Through their personal commitment and support, promote  library and information services. Includes Associates, Friends, and Trustees.
Student: Enrolled in a program for a certificate or a degree in library and information studies. Limited to 5 years.
