Getting To Kent
By Air
- Fly into Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE), the primary airport serving northeast Ohio and the most convenient option for travelers coming from across the U.S. and Canada.
- Well-connected through major hubs, Cleveland Hopkins provides frequent nonstop and one-stop flights from many U.S. cities and select Canadian connections.
Arrival Requirements:
- Domestic travelers: No special arrival requirements beyond standard government-issued ID.
- International travelers: Must meet U.S. entry requirements, including a valid passport and appropriate visa or ESTA authorization (for Visa Waiver Program countries). Customs and immigration procedures are completed upon entry to the United States.
From the airport to the city
- Rideshare (Uber/Lyft):
Most convenient option, especially with luggage; readily available at CLE; ~50 minutes to Kent depending on traffic. - Rental Car: Best option if you plan to move around Kent during your stay; all major rental companies operate at CLE; ~1 hour drive via I-480 / OH-8.
- Taxis:
Available at the airport taxi stand; flat or metered fares depending on provider; similar travel time to rideshare services, but usually more expensive.
